The Beijing Olympic Games, 2008

This is an open door to spread the Gospel.

The door is open now to over one billion Chinese people, to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Global Lights went into China in 2005, to prepare the way for taking Bible and other Christian Literature to the Beijing Olympics.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations.

From well known Missionaries like Hudson Taylor, the good news of the Kingdom has never stopped being preached with 100 Million Christians in China, many being persecuted and put into prison, The 2008 Olympics gives us a wonderful opportunity to take God’s Word to those who have not yet received it.  This is a once in a life time chance to enter freely into China with the Gospel, let us not allow this to go by without taking full advantage of the situation.

Global Lights is planning to go to Beijing for the whole of the Olympics (23rd June 2008 – 15th July 2008) to distribute literature in Chinese and English.  But to enable us to do this, we need your support, we not only need funding, but also we need those who are willing to stand with us in prayer, for the effectiveness of this work and for our protection whilst doing God’s work.

Global Light Recommends the book

“Awake to Watch Tower” from Reachout Trust.

This is the book of the year dealing with Jehovah’s Witnesses.

This book, by Doug Harris, is a good training manual in showing how to deal with Jehovah’s Witnesses and is the best book available to help Christians testify to Jehovah’s Witnesses rather than just to close the door when they call.
